Agentic workflows · Fractional AI lead
From AI project start to realized business value—faster.
Pippin partners with enterprise teams and agency partners to design, build, and deploy AI workflows that compress time-to-value across retail, healthcare, wireless, finance, and hospitality.
Sales engineer by day. Agency partner by retainer. Shipping systems for national brands, through the agencies that own those relationships.

Three ways to work with me. All of them start with a scope.
Most AI work stalls between the demo and the deployment — the prototype that impressed the client and the system nobody on the team can run. Everything below is built to close that gap, sized for teams that need a lead, not a headcount.

Scoping Sprint
Two weeks. One buildable answer.
Before anyone writes code, we find out whether the thing is worth building and what it would actually take. I sit in on the stakeholder conversations, map the workflow as it runs today, prototype the agentic version far enough to see where it breaks, and hand you a spec your team — or your vendor — can build from without guessing.
You get
- A written scope with the decisions made
- A working prototype of the riskiest step
- A build estimate you can put in front of a client
- A go / no-go recommendation

Fractional AI Lead
On retainer. In the room when it matters.
For teams shipping AI work who need someone who has done it: to scope the pitches, review what gets built, unblock what is stuck, and keep deployed systems healthy. A standing weekly slot, async access between, and a point of view on where agentic advertising and answer engines are headed — before your clients ask.
Three tiers, monthly:
- Advise$2,000
- A weekly hour, async access, and a second opinion on everything AI that crosses your desk.
- Lead$3,000
- Advise, plus I own the scoping and review on one active workstream.
- Embed$4,000
- Lead, plus I sit in your sprint cadence and carry delivery on the pieces that need it.
Month to month. Most clients start here after a Sprint.

Workflow Build
I lead. Your team ships. They keep it.
When a scope is ready and nobody on your side has built an agentic system before. I architect it, set up the tooling and the sprint cadence, write the parts that carry the risk, and pair with your developers on the rest — so when it is live, it is yours to run and extend without me.
Scoped and priced per project from the Sprint's estimate.
Start with a Sprint
Every engagement is scoped, run in sprints, and handed off with documentation your team will actually use. That is not a feature. It is the only way I know how to work.
Shipped, running, and still mine to keep healthy.
I do not publish client names. The work below is described as broadly as the agreements require and as specifically as I can stand behind.
- A national sponsorship and events program for a major wireless brand
- Built the content management system behind the program, working through the brand's agency — and have maintained it in production ever since. Multi-year, multi-market, running under real deadlines with real executives watching.
- The primary web property for a national consumer lifestyle brand
- Lead delivery on behalf of the agency that owns the relationship: scoping, sprint management, vendor coordination, and the calls that come in when something on a high-traffic consumer site needs to be right by morning.
- An e-commerce business, run by agents
- My own retail operation is the test bed. Inventory, order exceptions, and catalog maintenance run through agentic workflows connected directly to the store — the same tooling I bring to client work, proven on a business where the mistakes are mine to eat.
- And the day job
- Sales engineer and product developer at Recipero, a data company selling into North American enterprise. It is where I watch technical demos succeed and fail in front of buyers — which is most of what I know about the gap between a demo and a deployment.
Twenty-five years across advertising, enterprise software, and wireless — most of it spent shipping, not advising.
What happens to advertising and search when the buyer is an agent?
Two things I am studying in the open. Agentic advertising: how brands reach and persuade a buyer that is a model, not a person. And answer engine optimization: the successor to SEO for a web that answers instead of lists. I publish what I learn here, because the agencies I work with will be asked about it before anyone has settled answers.
